About
Joey den Butter is an audio engineer and producer based out of Charlotte, North-Carolina. After being introduced to music at age 5 playing piano, Joey also picked up guitar, drums and bass at a young age, followed by a few other instruments. His interest for recording started when his band recorded its first EP. After having spent time in a recording studio Joey got the itch to learn everything there is to know about recording and becoming an audio engineer. He attended audio school and started working under Douglas Romanow, a producer and engineer at Noble Street Studios in Toronto Canada. After a year Joey started interning at Noble Street Studios where he worked on sessions under industry leading engineers, producers and artists. He has taken all the experience and knowledge from the large studio environment to become an experienced audio professional with most work being done in recording, mixing and producing bands in a range of different genres.
